Congratulations on passing 5th kyu.
I’m truly grateful that all of you came to Ahimsa Dojo.
The “Do” in Aikido means a path. It is a long journey, but I hope we can continue walking it together.
You are all a new hope.
Let’s keep doing our best together.

First of all, congratulations to everyone who passed today’s grading.
Due to the Bali Aikikai requirements, many Ahimsa members were not able to take the exam this time, but five members successfully passed their 5th kyu.
5th kyu is very important, so please continue doing your best in Aikido.
Enjoy some good food today, and let’s train together again from tomorrow.

Dear Sarah san,
Tolong jangan lupa teknik dasar Aikido.
Shomenuchi ikkyo
Katatedori shihonage
Shomenuchi iriminage
Dalam waktu yang singkat, Sarah san sudah bisa melakukan tiga teknik ini, jadikan itu sebagai kepercayaan diri untuk terus menjalani your new chapter di sana.
Terima kasih juga dari saya dan sampai ketemu.🙏

Today is Seki Sensei’s final day teaching at the Hombu Dojo. For over 50 years, he has guided students there, and I still cannot even begin to replicate the sharpness and precision of his Aikido.
Thank you very much for everything,
Seki sensei....
We look forward to welcoming you in Bali this July.

Yesterday, we had another visitor from Japan, Kobayashi san from Katsushika Aikikai, Tokyo.
I met Kobayashi san last year in Japan through Sugawara Shigeru Shihan (Hombu Dojo), and he has been very kind to me.
He is also my senior in Aikido.
Thank you very much for visiting Ahimsa Dojo.
Until we meet again.

Today we had two training sessions at Bali Aikikai’s new dojo, Hyakuren Dojo, led by Dojocho Sonny Sensei and Bali Aikikai founder Rai Sensei.
Members from each Bali Aikikai dojo gathered, with participation limited to 2nd kyu and above.
Many members from Ahimsa Dojo also joined.
Sonny Sensei focused mainly on henka-waza (variation techniques). They were quite difficult, but it was a great opportunity to see another side of Aikido techniques and learn from them.
Rai Sensei focused on basics and explained the importance of connection, relaxing the body, and mindset, very important elements in budo training.
It was very tiring, but everyone enjoyed it.
Having all of you from Ahimsa Dojo there truly gives Kanno Sensei a lot of strength and support.
Thank you so much, everyone.
