SMP N 2 BOYOLALI (ESPERO BOY)

SMP N 2 BOYOLALI (ESPERO BOY) SMP Negeri 2 Boyolali adalah sekolah tua di Kabupaten Boyolali, setelah SMP Negeri 1 Boyolali. Peletakan batu pertama dilakukan oleh M.S.

Handjojo, Bupati Boyolali, pada tanggal 10 November 1956. Waktu peletakan batu pertama dijadikan Hari Ulang Tahun SMP Negeri 2 Boyolali. Setahun kemudian, tepatnya 17 Agustus 1957, SMP Negeri 2 Boyolali resmi beroperasi. Sampai tahun 2010 sudah ada 11 kepala sekolah yang memimpin SMP Negeri 2 Boyolali.
