Cisarua Refugee Learning Centre Community based and managed learning centre for refugees and asylum-seekers in Indonesia since 2014.

Refugees and asylum-seekers' mission is to establish, manage and run a learning centre on sustainable basis where their children get education which they had been deprived for. The other mission is to expand the number of students from children to adults by organising classes in the afternoon and evening. Also to gather the community elders, members, women and children under umbrella of education.

It is never easy to say goodbye to someone who has been such an important part of our CRLC family.

For several years, Ms. Yasmin dedicated her time, energy, and heart to CRLC as our GED Manager and GED Coordinator. She supported our students, stood beside our teachers, and worked closely with the management team to make CRLC a better place for everyone. Her commitment and hard work will always be remembered.

But Yasmin was more than her role. She was a good friend, a caring sister, and someone people could always look up to. So many of the girls around her speak about her with love and respect, about her kindness, her personality, and the way she made people feel supported and valued.

Now, as Yasmin, and sir Mojtaba, begin a new chapter in Canada.

Thank you, Ms. Yasmin, for every moment, every effort, every lesson, and every memory you left with us. You will be missed more than words can say.

We wish you and Sir Mojtaba a beautiful, peaceful, and successful life ahead. Canada is lucky to have you, but CRLC is even luckier to have had you as part of our family.

From January 2020 to August 2026, Sir Mojtaba Rezaie was not only our Finance Manager, but also a very important part of the CRLC family.

For more than six years, we saw his hard work, patience, and dedication. Like many of us, he experienced the difficulties and uncertainties of refugee life, but he continued to show up, take responsibility, and give his best to CRLC. There were challenges along the way, but Mojtaba always found a way to keep going.

Now, as Mojtaba begin a new chapter in Canada, we are truly happy for them. 🇨🇦❤️

Mojtaba, thank you for your hard work, your friendship, your kindness, your laughter, and for all the memories.

Canada is lucky to have you.

“ CRLC will always have a very special place in my heart. When I look back at my time there, I realize how many beautiful memories I have made. From my first day until now, there have been so many moments that made me happy, taught me important lessons, and helped me grow as a person.

One of the best things about CRLC was the people I met. I made wonderful friendships and shared so many unforgettable moments with my friends. We laughed together, helped each other, talked about our dreams, and sometimes even got into funny situations that we still remember and laugh about. These simple moments may have seemed ordinary at the time, but they became some of my favorite memories.

I also truly appreciate the teachers and everyone at CRLC who supported me and encouraged me to become a better person. They taught me more than just lessons from books; they also taught me about responsibility, kindness, confidence, and believing in myself.

I will always remember the special events, activities, conversations, and even the small everyday moments at CRLC. Every experience became a part of my journey and helped shape who I am today. Even though I am moving forward into a new chapter of my life, I know that I will never forget CRLC or the people who made my time there so meaningful.

Today, we celebrate not only the independence of Indonesia, but also the beautiful spirit of friendship, togetherness, and unity that continues to bring communities closer.

From our refugee community, we are deeply grateful to the Indonesian people and our Indonesian friends for the warmth, kindness, and friendship you have shared with us throughout the years. Today, we are enjoying these amazing traditional games, the joyful atmosphere, the laughter, and most importantly, the meaningful friendships between refugee and local communities. 🇮🇩🤝❤️

Days like this remind us that while our backgrounds and journeys may be different, joy, friendship, respect, and humanity have no borders.
