“Good morning! Welcome to our restaurant, are you ready to order?” 🍽️✨

That’s the sound of the Grade 1 students stepping into their roles as waitresses.

On Monday, April 13th, 2026, the Grade 1 students reached an exciting milestone in their Unit of Inquiry, “How We Organize Ourselves.” Through this unit, they explored the central idea that people play different roles within a community.

For their summative assessment, the students shared their personal experiences and brought the concept to life through vibrant role-play sessions.

It was truly a joy to watch them explain their roles and practice being “professional workers” with such grace and enthusiasm. ❤️
