As I would consider myself a breadwinner, it still feels different when your loved ones remember your favorites.

As we head home from the airport, my mama whispered, "ginbaklan taka to mango tapioca nak" (I bought you a mango tapioca, my child).

A few moments later, I already felt home even if we're still kilometers away from our house.

This is one of the simple ways to make your OFW family members happy.

I can afford to buy 100 times of this, yet, just one tub bought by my parents made my heart so full. โ™ฅ๏ธ

Meeting great leaders once again reminds us why we continue to pursue excellence in education. A humbling and inspiring moment. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ“˜

While waiting, I started reading this chapter: โ€œYou must make pressure your privilege.โ€

And I realized... lately, Iโ€™ve been feeling that kind of pressure too.
The one that sits on your chest even when youโ€™re already giving your all.

But this line made me pause.

Pressure isnโ€™t punishment.
Itโ€™s proof.
Proof that youโ€™re trusted.
That people depend on you.
That what youโ€™re doing matters enough to make you nervous.

Parents feel it when bills pile up before payday.
Business owners feel it when every decision affects others.
Students feel it when theyโ€™re chasing grades and dreams at the same time.

We all do.

And maybe, instead of hating the pressure,
we can start thanking it.

Because pressure means purpose.
It means youโ€™re not watching life from the sidelines... youโ€™re in the game.

So when it feels too heavy,
take a deep breath and remind yourself:
โ€œThis is my privilege.โ€

Pressure is a privilege.
It only comes to those whoโ€™ve earned the right to carry something that matters.
