Parongpong Takes Part in the Japan–ASEAN/India Open Innovation Exchange in Osaka🇯🇵

A truly meaningful experience for us to bring the Parongpong story to an international stage! Last month, we had the opportunity to join the Japan–ASEAN/India Open Innovation Exchange, organized by ERIA and JETRO at Osaka Innovation Hub, held during the SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026 week.

There, Parongpong took part in a pitching session in front of Japanese investors and corporate partners, introducing our interior and construction materials made from production waste residue. While also connecting and networking with innovators from across the region.

What started as a win at ARUN’s Cloud Social Investment (CSI) Challenge 6 has grown into something even more meaningful. Welcoming Satoko Kono-san, Director of ARUN, to see our work firsthand.

Two days, three cities, and countless moments to remember. From exploring our offices and factories in Bali and Bandung to visiting inspiring projects at Potato Head and Parsavika Pavilion, every stop brought new perspectives and meaningful conversations.

A journey filled with shared ideas, warm connections, and exciting discussions on production, innovation, and the possibilities of future collaboration.

A new chapter in cross-border collaboration! 🇮🇩🇯🇵

Parongpong RAW Lab has officially entered into a strategic partnership with PoliPoli Inc., a GovTech company based in Tokyo, Japan, through the signing of an MoU by our CEO, Rendy Aditya Wachid, and Ryusei Kurata-san of PoliPoli Inc.

This collaboration combines community-based circular economy implementation with technology-driven policy co-creation, paving the way for more participatory environmental solutions across Japan and the ASEAN region.

Represented by our COO, Ms Amiroh Husna Utami, we shared our perspective in Session 2, “Scaling Local Solutions: Financing, Innovation, and Partnerships to Reduce Marine Plastic Leakage,” alongside fellow speakers and cross-sector partners.
