This is Bu Rosita Zhang, one of our students from China. Bu Rosita enrolled in our 100 Lesson Hours - Online Package in July 2026 and has been making fantastic progress under the guidance of her instructors, Bu Wulan and Bu Anisa.

Bu Rosita is learning Bahasa Indonesia to help connect Indonesian patients seeking medical treatment in China with the essential healthcare services they need.

Meet one of our students from Italy, her name is Giusy! She came to Indonesia for a short stay and started her Bahasa Indonesia course in June 2026, guided by her instructor, Bu Anisa.

Giusy is motivated to learn Indonesian because she wants to communicate more easily with her Indonesian family.

“Giusy is a delightful and amusing student with a cheerful personality! She is always punctual for my classes and consistently completes the assigned homework. She is also quick to grasp concepts and possesses a critical mind, she always asks questions whenever she encounters new words in the slides, worksheets, or assignments. She is highly active in asking questions and takes the initiative to take notes before I even ask,” said her instructor, Bu Anisa.

Meet one of our dedicated students from England, Pak Adam Hans Salter! Pak Adam began his language journey with us on 10 March 2026, enrolling in our 80 Lesson Hours - Online Package under the guidance of his instructor, Pak Neza.

Pak Adam has set clear goals for his Indonesian learning journey. In the short term, he wants to connect with colleagues and engage in everyday conversations to show respect for the local culture. Long-term, he aims for professional fluency so he can confidently lead meetings with senior executives.

Learning a new language always comes with its challenges. Pak Adam has been navigating complex areas such as applying the correct sound changes for prefixes, converting active to passive sentences, mastering new vocabulary pronunciation, expressing emotions accurately, and using sentence particles naturally.

Through it all, Pak Adam never backs down. He completes every exercise and assignment with incredible enthusiasm and determination!

Meet another one of our students from the Netherlands, Pak Jan Daniel de Doelder!

He has been learning Bahasa Indonesia with us since 9 June 2026 alongside his instructor, Bu Arizka. Pak Jan is currently in his second package with us, a milestone we are thrilled about, as it shows how much he enjoys his learning journey with Bu Arizka!

Pak Jan already possesses a solid foundation in Indonesian, comfortably using everyday language and common expressions. Before joining LSI, he was a self-taught learner who built his conversational skills by practicing with his neighbors in Indonesia.

"Studying formal linguistic theory and concepts is a new challenge for him, but he demonstrates a wonderful willingness to learn. He is always enthusiastic about asking questions whenever a concept gets tricky and is exceptionally open to feedback. I truly appreciate his dedication," shared Bu Arizka.

Meet one of our students from the Netherlands, Bu Jasmijn Jaquet!

Learning Bahasa Indonesia with us since 13 July 2026, Bu Jasmijn set out with a clear vision: to fluently converse in Indonesian, read national newspapers, and understand local news broadcasts across media platforms.

Beyond language learning, she has a profound passion for Indonesian history and culture. She is particularly fascinated by the historic Asia-Africa Conference as she prepares to pursue her Master’s degree in History, focusing on colonial studies.

Her dedication is truly inspiring, she is always punctual, diligent with her assignments, and demonstrates remarkable progress. During her recent assessment, she delivered impressive monologues, showing how quickly she grasps Indonesian language structures and vocabulary.
