Meet Pak Joseph Madel and Pak Robert Bruno from the United States!

Since August 2026, both students have been embarking on an intensive Bahasa Indonesia learning journey through a private group class at Language Studies Indonesia, guided by their instructors, Bu Wulan and Bu Chika.

Entering the program at the Independent User B1 level, Pak Joseph and Pak Robert already possessed a solid foundation in the language. Their primary objective was to master natural daily communication and confidently engage in direct conversations with native Indonesian speakers.

Like many advanced learners, they faced common linguistic challenges, particularly in navigating the nuances of Indonesian affixes, maintaining precise sentence structures, and formulating direct, accurate responses.

Despite these challenges, both students have demonstrated exceptional growth and dedication:

"They are showing great progress, are diligent with their homework, and are always punctual for class. They actively ask questions whenever they are unsure, and have successfully mastered new phrases and idioms to apply effectively in sentences," shared Bu Chika.

Bu Wulan added, "Whenever I provide feedback on writing assignments, they make a concerted effort not only to apply corrections, but also to grasp the linguistic concepts. Despite their busy daily schedules, both Pak Joseph and Pak Robert consistently complete their homework and document their understanding of lessons."

Meet Pak Victor Du, one of our dedicated students from China, who recently completed his 20 Lesson Hours Online Package (August – September 2026) under the guidance of his instructor, Pak Neza.

Throughout his learning journey, Pak Victor faced several challenges, from pronouncing new vocabulary and correctly using question words to structuring complete sentences and expressing time concepts accurately.

Despite these hurdles, Pak Victor consistently completed all his assignments and homework. Through patience and steady effort, he has gradually overcome these difficulties step by step.

"What I particularly admire about Pak Victor Du is his dedication to attending class regardless of where he is; for instance, he has joined sessions while travelling through Tibet and various cities in China," shared Pak Neza.

Pak Hyoyeop Jang recently completed his 20 Lesson Hours – Online Package (August – September 2026) with guidance from two of our instructors, and one of them is Bu Wulan.

His main goal is to converse comfortably with his colleagues and handle daily interactions while working in Indonesia.

Here is what Bu Wulan shared about his dedication:

“He consistently strives to practice using the sentence structures he has learned. He is always punctual for class and completes his homework, allowing him to practice outside of class hours despite having a very busy work schedule. Furthermore, he takes the initiative to ask questions whenever he encounters new vocabulary, whether in the course materials or during interactions with his colleagues.”

We are thrilled to introduce one of our dedicated online students from Romania, Bu Ana Maria Paslaru!

Currently living in Jakarta and working as a Personal Care General Manager at Unilever, Bu Ana has been mastering Bahasa Indonesia under the guidance of one of her instructors, Bu Nibros.

Having recently completed the A1 level, she is now advancing her studies to the A2 level. Bu Ana is motivated to learn Indonesian to better understand her colleagues, as she finds conversational Indonesian both important and challenging to grasp.

Here is what Bu Nibros shared about her progress:

“Despite her busy work schedule, Bu Ana consistently completes her homework on time and never cancels classes. She demonstrates great enthusiasm for the language, frequently asking about the meanings of terms like 'orangutan' and 'ibu rumah tangga', as well as word-for-word translations, always seeking to understand the logic behind the language.

Meet one of our students from Singapore, Pak Henry! Guided by Bu Anisa and Bu Chika, he embarked on his Indonesian language journey with us in August 2026.

As a Manager at Lantro Technologies Indonesia, Pak Henry’s primary goal was to master everyday conversational Indonesian to connect more seamlessly with his local clients.

Throughout his learning journey, Pak Henry faced a few challenges. Although he already spoke Malay, he found Indonesian surprisingly distinct, often comparing pronunciations and navigating differences in question words.
