3 BAD HABITS OF ENGLISH LEARNERS

1. Avoiding situations where you have to speak English.
The best way to learn how to speak English is to speak English. Never avoid speaking English because speaking will become easier and easier as time passes by if you are active enough.
2. Staying in your comfort zone.
Anything truly worth learning has many challenges. Work on saying exactly what you wish to say and stop sticking with easy words and simple sentences. Try to experiment with new vocabulary, expressions, and structure.
3. Learning random words from the dictionary.
Expanding your English vocabulary is always a good thing to do, but if you find yourself just skimming through random words, it may be time to stop. The best way to learn new vocabulary is through exposing yourself to English in a real way via reading, speaking, chatting, and etc. Once you discover a word you don't know you should then head to the dictionary. We tend to remember things that are more meaningful to us.
