Stunting and malnutrition is one of the leading cause for death in children worlwide. Indonesia is the 2nd highest country with stunting prevalence in ASEAN, reaching 36.4% of toddler. This depicts more than one-third of baby population or around 8.8 million toddlers suffer from stunting, which in turn, leads to malnutrition and death. We believe prevention, health promotion, and policy influencing this matter will be essential in eradicating case of stunting globally, which will lead for a better future to our descendant
Syiah Kuala International Conference on Medical And Health Science’ is an annually held event from Faculty of Medicine of Syiah Kuala University, this year in conjuction with The 2nd National Forum on Child & Maternal Health, Family Planning, and Nutrition and The 1st National Family Medicine Forum provide a forum for knowledge and experience exchange and invites clinical expert, public health practioneers, medical scientist and researchers, and stake holders. This event focuses on the theme “A Legacy for Future Generations: The First 1000 Days of Life – Scientific to Community Based Approach”.
