The story behind this photo…click through!

“We are freediving this stunning pinnacle some where in the open blue ocean in Raja Ampat. The current is blowy, which is nice, there is schooling travally at the base of the pinnacle. I swim down with the camera as the visibility and light is breath taking against the rock. Emmanuel is an experienced deeper freediver, he is mega relaxed and closes his eyes as he freefalls down the side of the rock, the current has other ideas and pulls him over closer to the rock.
I am just taking pictures of this scene not noticing Emmanual, but i hear his head crack the rock. Anthea witnesses the crash and swims over to check on him.
On the surface the wetsuit hood has a nice hole and plenty of blood, but only a small gash.
The site was soo beautiful that morning Emmanual refused to stop diving! A small offering to ocean, always check where you are going when freediving off the line!”
