Our Colleagues Appointed as HR Division Ambassadors for Hungary
Dr. Anikó Csepregi and Dr. Eszter Bogdány, faculty members of the Department of Management at the Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Pannonia, have been appointed HR Division Ambassadors for Hungary for the 2026–2029 term. 🇭🇺🌍
🏛️ Founded in 1936, the Academy of Management (AOM) is a leading international professional association for management and organisation scholars, bringing together more than 21,000 members from over 120 countries. It provides a global platform for research, teaching, professional development, collaboration, and the dissemination of scholarly knowledge.
🤝 As part of AOM, the Human Resources Division promotes scholarship in personnel and human resource management, supports the dissemination of research findings, and strengthens professional connections among HR researchers, educators, and practitioners.
🌐 Launched in 2008, the HR Division Ambassadors Program currently connects ambassadors from 44 countries. During their three-year term, the University of Pannonia faculty members will represent Hungary within this international community and contribute to strengthening national, regional, and global HR networks, knowledge exchange, and collaboration across research, teaching, and organisational practice.

🌍🤝 Successful realization of the project “Empowering Open Innovation Tourism Networks” (EOITN) project, supported by the International Visegrad Fund 🎉
✅ The project has successfully strengthened innovation capacities across the Visegrad region and Serbia. 🚀
📅 The activities were realized between January 2025 and July 2026. The initiative united academic institutions from Poland 🇵🇱, the Czech Republic 🇨🇿, Hungary 🇭🇺, and Serbia 🇷🇸 to foster cross-sector cooperation. 🤝
In the case of Vrnjacka Banja (Serbia) 🏞️ as a tourism destination, the project achieved a 72.6% increase 📈 in collaborative ties among stakeholders.
Key outputs include a new open innovation digital platform 💻 and a transferable methodology 📚 for building resilient tourism ecosystems. 🌿
This way, the project establishes a vital framework for long-term competitiveness 📊 and sustainable regional development. 🌱

🎬🤖 The Storytelling with AI Summer Camp has successfully come to an end 🌍✨
Over the course of two inspiring days, our international students explored the exciting connection between artificial intelligence 🤖 and storytelling 📖 through a series of creative, hands-on workshops. 💡🎨
Participants discovered innovative ways to use AI in creative processes, developed their own stories ✍️, and gained valuable insights into the world of digital media production. 💻🎞️
One of the highlights of the camp was a visit to the Uni-Pannon Media Studio, where students had the opportunity to experience a professional media studio 🎥🎙️ and try out state-of-the-art production equipment. 🚀✨

🌍 Professional Achievements at the EATSA 2026 Conference
From 29 June to 3 July 2026, the 12th Annual Conference of EATSA - The Euro-Asia Tourism Studies Association – was held in Poland, where colleagues and PhD students from the Department of Tourism at the University of Pannonia actively represented our university. 🎓
The central theme of the conference was the role of tourism in connecting people in a rapidly changing and technologically transforming world. Our colleagues and students presented several research projects and conference papers at the event. 📚✨
🏆 We are especially delighted and honoured that PhD student Eszter Csontó received the Best PhD Paper Award.
👏 We are also proud that Dr Petra Gyurácz-Németh was elected Vice President of EATSA’s European Region.
