We are proud that Fruzsina Nánai, our Vice-President of the Local Student Board, represented our Alliance at the European Student Assembly 2026 in the European Parliament in Strasbourg 🇪🇺✨
During ESA2026, students from all across Europe came together to exchange ideas, collaborate on policy recommendations, and contribute to discussions shaping the future of the EU.
This year’s Assembly brought together 250 students from 196 universities, representing 54 European University Alliances and 34 countries — highlighting the importance of student voices in European decision-making. 🏛️🌍
We are grateful to be part of such an inspiring international community and proud to see our students actively engaged at the heart of Europe.

We’re back with another testimonial ✨
This time, we’re taking you to Harstad, where academic inspiration met truly unforgettable personal experiences. From engaging sessions on career services, future skills, and doctoral development, to meaningful discussions about how early career researchers can better support each other - the workshop offered valuable insights for everyone involved.
And of course, it wasn’t just about academics. Meeting wonderful colleagues, sharing conversations, experiencing the magic of the Northern Lights, and enjoying a memorable dinner at Røkenes Gård made this journey truly special.
Moments like these remind us that learning goes far beyond the classroom — it’s about people, places, and experiences that stay with us long after the event ends 💙
Stay tuned for more stories from our participants!

From March 26–28, we had the pleasure of hosting the 7th EUGLOH Student Road Trip in Szeged 🇭🇺✨
Despite the rainy weather in the “City of Sunshine”, students from across Europe brought all the energy, creativity, and positivity with them. Over three days, participants from all nine partner universities’ Local Student Boards came together to share ideas, challenge each other through debates, and build meaningful connections.
From courtroom simulations and startup pitches to exploring how AI can shape campus life, the programme was filled with inspiring discussions and lots of laughter. Beyond the workshops, discovering Szeged together - from cultural spots to relaxed evening moments - made the experience even more special.
What made this Road Trip truly unforgettable wasn’t just the programme, but the people. Even in just a few days, new friendships were formed, and connections were built that will last far beyond this event.
Already looking forward to the next one 💫

🌍 Members of the EUGLOH Local Student Board at the University of Szeged had the opportunity to represent the university at Planet Expo Budapest, where they introduced visitors to SZTE’s sustainability goals and several innovative projects connected to environmental awareness and technological development.
Throughout the event, they engaged in inspiring conversations with visitors from different backgrounds, sharing insights about the university’s initiatives while also learning from the ideas and perspectives of others. The expo brought together companies, institutions, and researchers working toward a more sustainable future, creating a space for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and inspiration.
For the students, the experience was not only about presenting the university’s work, but also about discovering new ideas, gaining confidence, and connecting with people passionate about sustainability and innovation. 🌱
