We didn’t leave the 20th-anniversary Alma Mater Weekend empty-handed — or hungry. 🥄🏆
Our faculty team secured a podium finish in the GasztroMater cooking competition, earning the Bronze Wooden Spoon award with their authentic Hungarian-style chili con carne. Meanwhile, we were also in top form in the sporting events, taking first place in both the Basketball Shooting Challenge and the Ergometer Rowing Challenge. 👏👏
Thank you to everyone who cooked, competed, cheered us on, or simply helped make this such a fantastic day.
See you again next year!

Over the course of the two-day event, researchers, lecturers, and legal professionals from numerous countries shared their insights on current challenges in innovation, communications law, and intellectual property law. This year’s conference placed special emphasis on the relationship between artificial intelligence and copyright, the legal implications of AI-generated content, EU regulatory reforms, the future of digital platforms and emerging technologies, and sustainability issues.
We would like to thank all speakers, participants, and supporters for contributing to the success of the conference. We are also grateful to the event’s sponsors for their generous support: the National Media and Infocommunications Authority and the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office.
