The European Parliament’s translation service (DG TRAD) has launched recruitment competitions for Intercultural and Language Professionals in Croatian, German, Hungarian, Slovenian and Lithuanian. Intercultural and Language Professionals work in the translation service of the European Parliament, carrying out a range of linguistic tasks into their mother tongue, including translation, subtitling, voiceover work and terminology.
Application for the competition is open until 12 January 2024 (5 pm, Luxembourg time).
We believe this competition can be of interest to your alumni, as well as to your researchers, associate professors or other language professionals. For this reason, we would kindly ask you to share the information through your relevant channels (website, newsletter, social media, digital job board, careers advisory service, alumni association or any others you may have) and inform the relevant departments at your institution.

Please, remind potential candidates to check:
· eligibility criteria (general and specific), and
· required knowledge of languages (language 1, language 2 and language 3)
The competition consists of two stages:
1. pre-selection: a) multiple-choice questions and b) talent evaluator
2. tests
We will recruit 12 successful candidates for each language (Croatian, German, Hungarian, Slovenian and Lithuanian)
