say/tell = say (to sy), tell sy
a mix of breeds is a mongrel
stuff = things
lethal = deadly
tricky english pronunciation: loom, good, blood(!), read(!), red...
sy can't help (doing) sg = cannot stop doing something
double negatives are incorrect (except slum dwellers):
don't do nothin'
the unconscious mind and unconscious competence
hamster wheel = boring everyday life you feel you cannot change
verb stink vs adjective stinky
noun cage
noun wire
-ed vs -ing (bored/boring...)
