*** Join our weekly meetings and you shall not miss anything. ***
Here is what we had last week:

rather (choice of preference)
say/tell = say (to sy), tell sy
a mix of breeds is a mongrel
stuff = things
lethal = deadly
tricky english pronunciation: loom, good, blood(!), read(!), red...
sy can't help (doing) sg = cannot stop doing something
double negatives are incorrect (except slum dwellers):
don't do nothin'
the unconscious mind and unconscious competence
hamster wheel = boring everyday life you feel you cannot change
verb stink vs adjective stinky
noun cage
noun wire
-ed vs -ing (bored/boring...)

I am looking forward to elaborating on some of these tomorrow!
See you at 6 pm on Thursday!

PS.: before you get too scared, we do not do much grammar, just give a lot of examples and speak in whole sentences, tell complete stories...

For those who missed our last session: just a piece of information, a photo taken by a club member, what we talked about.
