My one and only Enzo Ferrari turned 10 years old today. I had to think about how to celebrate him, what would make him happy. And I realized what he’d want: tricktraining session. He loves feeling successful, and the short and understandable exercises with clear beginnings and endings - or just simly tricks - provide him with the mental stimulation he needs and the sense of achievement he loves. For so long I thought doing nothing, giving him massages would be his favorite activities, but that’s not him. So, a few clips from the birthday session. Thank you for being in my life, Enzo! Love you forever.

Just some winter photos by
Every time I ask someone to take photos, I get anxious and inconsistent.
So they are taken at our worst, which is why I’m always happy when they still reflect some of the joy we share while being together.

❄️We say we’re tired, it’s the end of the year. My collegue reminded me that there’s no end, since these things are circular. It’s not like we get to stop. However, today it felt like time stopped. It froze for an hour. I wanted to capture it - this present moment, probably the happiest time of my human experience.
🌬️I got a fresh motivation for liberty from , whose free video reminded me of why I began this journey in the first place: to truly give horses the choice. (I remember when I was 15 and my riding instructor told me to beat the horse myself if I don’t want him to beat him. That’s when I decided not to get on the next time.) If the horse is not free to choose other things, how could he really choose me? With Enzo, we got back to where we were when we used to spend hours together every day very quickly: in liberty out on trails, without fences. I don’t have as much time these days, but the quality is what matters.
🩰Showing up without expectations is the simplest, yet one of the most difficult things to achieve sometimes. It requires trust. I wish you this for 2025: just show up, and trust that that’s more than enough!

🏘️I’ve been living in this town for 10 years. Enzo’s been living here for 8. But my 29th birthday was the first time I actually rode into the town center, and finally arrive in my garden.
🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒There’s just something about having your horse where you live. I felt happy, secure, fulfilled. Like everything and everyone I love is right there: my four legged and two legged partners, friends, a house I like to call home…
🥂I told the guys at the rehab (my clients, also my community), that I wanted a wild party on my birthday, but also a sober one. So I spontanously found this gang of 6 (3 horses) who were willing to vandalize our town with me (by leaving horsepoop on the roads), canter at lenght, feel free, face challanges and fears, cross tunnels, climb hights. And feel as happy as me. I can honestly say it was the best way to celebrate.
📝I’ll remember this day as a mission statement. This is what I want for my life: to share, to help, to ser an example, to feel free and happy and home and held and loved and supperted.
👛Thank you for those who support me, also a word for those who helped my little donation campaing on fb - I can’t wait to use the yoga equipment in my classes at the rehab, and to see the farm therapy center coming alive next year. Thank you!
❓Any special sober celebration stories in your pocket? I’d love to hear them, and gather some ideas for the upcoming holidays at the rehab. How do you celebrate special, and sometimed hard moments without getting wasted? (No judgement here tho).

Playful days. Enzo is 9 years old, in his prime. And I spend less time with him than ever. He pulls tricks sometimes, to make me stay longer, and gives his all during our practices. I’m calling everything practice now - not because we have a show to perform in or something, but because we practice being better each time. We practice showing up. Giving and receiving respect. Joy. Conflict resolution. And so much gratitude.

EN The base to success in training is a mindset that encourages collaboration. In both horse and rider. If the relationship is based on love and respect for each other - not only requesting respect from the animal and always allowing time to just be -, then every moment is ecstatic, and training becomes a meditative, calming and joyful dialogue. Horse riding is not a hard and sweaty thing, but a fun path towards learning about ourselves in the only true way: through a relationship. It's not only the key to training but to key to knowing ourselves.
