This week marks the end of an incredible 4-week journey at the Pécs Summer School 2025!
From European Studies and Leadership Skills to Intercultural Sensitivity and the Debate Academy, we had an amazing time learning, growing, and connecting with students from 4 continents, 40 countries, and 50 universities, guided by inspiring lecturers from Hungary, Italy, and Croatia.
We are deeply grateful to:
- the students who trusted us and joined, the sending universities, our fantastic lecturers, our dedicated Hungarian student mentors and organizing team who made it all possible.

This summer, Pécs is bursting with energy and international flair as the University of Pécs hosts its renowned Pécs Summer School! 🌍

🎓 From July 4th, the city transforms into a vibrant hub of knowledge and culture, welcoming students from across the globe to engage in a rich tapestry of academic and cultural experiences.

Intercultural Workshop for the Pécs Summer School participants - One of the highlights and most touching parts of our summer schools is experiencing how intelligent, kind, and open-minded the students from all around the world are who have arrived here. It is incredible to see the representation of so many diverse and wonderful cultures. We get to experience how, through our program, we have created a mini world in Pécs.
Hearing the students themselves say how important it is to be open, motivated, accepting, and respectful towards every culture is truly inspiring. ❤️

Another summer school of ours started this week. The European Studies summer school attracted 50 students from 17 countries and 3 continents. It's a fantastic feeling to be with such a wonderfully diverse community of students - exciting classes, deep discussions and a real intercultural experience.
Sending countries include Australia, USA, Japan, India, Thailand, Germany, UK, Turkey, Russia, UK, Belgium, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, etc..
We are particularly pleased to have a regular summer school with such an interest from all over the world.

The Pécs Summer School 2023 program continues today! This time the 4-week summer course started for a group of 40 students from our French partner university, ESIEA.
The students will have a very varied program. Data science, English language classes, intercultural sensitivity, 3D printing - lots of interesting lessons with our best teachers. And among the social programs there will be the Pécs Light Festival, Quiz Night, Intercultural Night, Wine tasting, a visit to a thermal bath, etc...
We hope that the students will be as happy with the programs as we have been preparing them!

This year’s Pécs Summer School program has begun!!🎉 We are starting with an Erasmus BIP program on Intercultural Sensitivity, where Italian, Slovak and UnivPécs students study and have fun together for a week.
