Pécs Summer School offers a truly international community experience, with enriching programmes, new connections, and unforgettable moments filling these summer days in Pécs. 💙

The programme brings together 200 fantastic students from 40 countries, who can look forward to outstanding lecturers, enjoyable afternoon and evening activities, and unique professional events.🎓🤝🌆

We were delighted to welcome Rector Dr Adrián Fábián as one of our guest speakers, who enriched the programme with his inspiring insights. ✨

To help alleviate the extreme summer heat, a cooling misting gate has been set up today (June 29, 2026) in the south park of the PTE Medical School - PTE ÁOK - Általános Orvostudományi Kar (ÁOK).

Brought to you by Tettye Forrásház Zrt., this initiative comes with a awesome twist: the technical foundations of the structure were originally designed by mechanical engineering students right here at the university's Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology - PTE Műszaki és Informatikai Kar (MIK)! 🧑‍🔬⚙️

Misting gate installed in the PTE Medical School park against the heatwave To alleviate the extreme heat, a cooling misting gate has been deployed today, 29 June 2026, in the south park of the PTE Medical School (ÁOK).

🏛️ A milestone moment at the University of Pécs: Ceremonial Senate Session! ✨

✨ The University of Pécs (PTE) held its traditional End-of-Year Ceremonial Senate Session on Thursday, 25 June 2026, in the Dr. Halasy-Nagy József Aula. During the ceremony, Professor Emeritus and honorary academic titles, habilitated doctoral certificates, as well as PhD and DLA degrees were awarded.

✨ A special highlight of the ceremony was the taking of the rector's oath by Dr. Adrián Fábián and the ceremonial handover of the rector's insignia.

Our heartfelt congratulations go out to all awardees, graduates, and title recipients for their exceptional achievements! We also wish our new Rector great success in leading UP into its next exciting chapter! 🤝
