Day 3 is in the books - and Sunday was all about the dynamic events. 🏁

From the morning track walk to Autocross runs and the Endurance, the ZalaZONE proving ground gave every team the ultimate test. The heat only raised the stakes, with temperatures pushing the limits of both cars and drivers, completing the Endurance was a challenge in itself. Only one team crossed the finish line officially: , who took the overall win of FS Easter 2026. 🏆

That’s what FS Easter is really about: not just speed, but learning what your car and your team are truly capable of. Real track time, real feedback, real conditions.

Congratulations to every team that took to the track this weekend. Whatever the result, you leave with something no workshop can give you. Good luck for the official competition season and see you next year. 🇭🇺⚡

Formula Student Easter – Day 3 at ZalaZONE.

Today was the final verdict. Autocross, endurance, Business Plan Presentations - everything teams have worked towards came down to one last day on and off the track. And when it was all over, the Award Ceremony brought everyone together one last time. 🏆

The results are in:
🥇 1st place – PWR
🥈 2nd place – TUG
🥉 3rd place – ART

Static Overall Winner: JRG 🏆

Day 2 is in the books - and the real action has begun! 🏁

Saturday at ZalaZONE brought what everyone had been waiting for - cars on track. Brake tests, skidpad, and acceleration runs filled the paddock with the sound and energy that makes this event special. Static events kept the judges busy throughout the day as teams continued to showcase their work off the track too.

Oh, and we paused for a moment to get the whole family together for the panoramic picture. 📸

Formula Student Easter - Day 1 at ZalaZONE.

Every team here has the same goal - arrive better than they left.

Formula Student Easter isn’t just a competition. It’s a test bench, a proving ground, and for many, the first real taste of race weekend pressure.

Today the paddock came alive - teams registered, moved into the pits, and went through scrutineering. The day wrapped up with the Opening Ceremony. 🎉

Just one day to go! 🏁
Tomorrow, FS Easter 2026 returns to AVL ZalaZONE, where Formula Student teams will once again gather to prepare for the upcoming competition season.

As in previous editions, the event will once again take place on the Dynamics Platform, providing the ideal environment for teams to evaluate and fine tune their race cars in a professional proving ground setting.

What makes the Dynamics Platform so special?🤔

• 300 metre diameter asphalt surface providing ample space for dynamic vehicle testing
• 760 metre acceleration lane for high-speed manoeuvres and performance evaluation
• 20 metre wide run off area ensuring a safe testing environment

Some people pass through Formula Student. Others make it part of who they are, and Klemen falls firmly into the second group.
He joined the University of Maribor GPE Formula Student team in his very first year at university and stayed for six years, long enough to learn the discipline from the inside out: manufacturing, dynamic testing, inspection, and the documentation that holds it all together.

Today he puts that same hands-on, detail-driven mindset to work as a mechatronic systems developer at SkyLabs.

So why give his time to FS Easter? In his own words, he wants to forward what Formula Student has done for him, passing the experience on to the next generation of engineers.

💬 His advice to the teams: “Don’t compare yourself to others, compare yourself to past you!”

And his goal for the event is refreshingly simple: “Let’s have fun and learn something.”

Péter’s Formula Student journey began in the BME Formula Racing Team, where he spent 2,5 years in the Tractive System Accumulator group, learning the inner workings of battery systems from the inside out. From there he stepped up to Technical Leader at FS East, a role he held from 2021 to 2025. 🔋

Today, Péter works at Knorr-Bremse as a hardware developer, building redundant power management systems for safety critical electrical loads. He landed the job through his Formula Student connections, and the battery knowledge he started building in FRT still shows up in his work every day.

His expertise spans low voltage power electronics, functional safety in the automotive industry, and energy storage technologies, the systems that keep things running safely under pressure.

This year he’s back at FSEaster 2026 as a Scrutineer, ready to give back to the community that shaped his career.

🚗 Testing ADAS Technologies in a Real-World Environment

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require reliable and repeatable testing before they can be deployed on public roads. One of the locations where such testing takes place is AVL ZalaZONE, offering dedicated proving ground modules for vehicle development and validation.

→ 250 × 60 m dynamic area with a 400 m acceleration lane
→ Reproduction of Euro NCAP test scenarios
