What can you achieve after graduating from the University of Miskolc? Our Alumni Talk series offers a glimpse into the many different paths our graduates have taken after their studies.

Throughout the spring semester, we had the pleasure of welcoming inspiring alumni working in fields ranging from engineering and academia to healthcare, research, psychology and the automotive industry.

🌍 47th Multilingual Uni Trip – Factory Arena! 🧗🛴

Join us for an active and fun afternoon at Factory Arena!

You can try rock climbing, scootering in the skate park, the foam pit, giant chess, giant table football, and many other exciting activities!

📅 Date: Tuesday, 28 July 2026
🚌 Getting there: About 20 minutes from the University of Miskolc by local public transport.

💙 KÖSZI provides the entrance ticket and all sports equipment rentals.

👥 The programme is open to Hungarian and international students and staff of the University of Miskolc.
✅ Participation is free of charge, but registration is required. The number of places is limited.

Csatlakozz hozzánk egy aktív, élményekkel teli délutánra a Factory Arénába!

Kipróbálhatod többek között a falmászást, a rollerezést a skate parkban, a szivacsmedencét, az óriás sakkot, az óriás csocsót és még sok más izgalmas programot!

🚌 Eljutás: helyi tömegközlekedéssel, kb. 20 perc a Miskolci Egyetemtől.
💙 A belépőt és a sporteszközök bérlését a KÖSZI biztosítja.

One chapter closes, another begins. 🎓

You are warmly invited to the official Farewell Reception honoring the Class of 2026.

This special occasion will celebrate your achievements and bring the academic year to a close in a shared moment of recognition and celebration.

The ceremony will feature the awarding of graduation stoles and commemorative plaques to student organizations, followed by a shared celebration over cake.

✨ Dresscode: Business casual or traditional outfit ✨

The ceremony will celebrate your achievements and also recognize the contributions of the ISAN Board, Student Ambassadors, and the best mentors of the year with commemorative plaques.

Be part of an international team, make international friendships, and develop your skills!

Apply to be an international mentor! 🌐

Your successful exams are not enough to achieve your dream job, companies are looking for candidates with English language skills, reliability, problem-solving, networking, and communication competencies. It is difficult to develop these skills with a crowded schedule and there is not always an opportunity to do an internship.

If you want to develop, apply to be an international mentor for the 2026/2027 academic year, as this will give you the soft skills mentioned above, you will become a member of an international team and your problem-solving skills will get better. To receive the scholarship, there is no exact working hour to do the mentoring work. It is an adventure that you go through with your mentees.

Benefits of being a mentor:

✅ A good point for job applications
✅ A unique chapter in your CV

❓ What we expect from a mentor:
- English language
- Active student status (stay at the university for at least the next academic year)
- Openness
- Problem-solving skills
- Living in or near Miskolc

✔️ Tasks:
International students assistance with their administrative duties, presentation of the university, keeping contact with students, participation in the implementation of institutional programs and trips, participation in training and mentor meetings, and preparation of reports with pictures.

Jelentkezz nemzetközi mentornak! 🌐

Álmaid munkájának eléréséhez sajnos nem elegendőek a jó jegyek: a cégek elsősorban az angol nyelvtudást, a megbízhatóságot, a problémamegoldó képességet, valamint a kapcsolatteremtési és kommunikációs készségeket keresik a jelentkezőkben. A zsúfolt órarend mellett azonban nehéz ezeket a kompetenciákat fejleszteni, és nem mindig adódik lehetőség gyakornoki hely betöltésére a 2026/2027-es tanévre.

Szeretnél fejlődni és közben egy szuper közösség tagja lenni? Ez a szerep segít elsajátítani azokat a soft skilleket (mint a kommunikáció, problémamegoldás, csapatmunka), amelyekre a munkaerőpiacon igazán szükség van. Nem köt óraszám, rugalmasan végezheted a “mentor munkát”, ami valójában inkább egy élményekkel teli kaland, barátkozással, tanulással és rengeteg tapasztalattal. Ráadásul ösztöndíj is jár érte!

A mentorság előnyei:
