They presented their Small Scale Projects - various community engagement projects of applied anthropology and premiered the short documentary 'Not as Distant As We Imagine' with the director and protagonist lead Q&A after the screening. Just Yaaaay! 🥳

Last week's Mead-Bateson love story is not yet over! Meet the fruit of their relationship, Mary Catherine Bateson. Does it still surprise you that she is also an anthropologist like her parents?

Mary's birth was treated by her parents as fieldwork, documenting her birth on film and continuing to her early childhood. She soon became an anthropologist and was also known as a prolific author. She wrote groundbreaking books on women's lives, one of which is "Composing a Life" where such words are written.

Indeed, what is life but a piece of art that we create, on a daily basis!
