📍 On 8–9 June 2026, BioTreatED partners from Hungary, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Türkiye gathered in Warsaw and Puławy for the project's Annual Progress Meeting.

💡 During two productive days, partners reviewed the project's achievements, discussed upcoming scientific activities, and worked together on strategic planning and risk management to ensure successful implementation.

🧪 The programme also included a visit to the -PIB laboratories, providing an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, showcase research infrastructure and strengthen collaboration.

🌱 International cooperation, knowledge sharing and scientific excellence remain at the heart of the BioTreatED project.

Sikeresen lezajlott a BioTreatED éves konzorciumi találkozója! 🌍🤝

📍 2026. június 8–9. között Varsóban és Puławyban találkoztak a BioTreatED projekt partnerei Magyarországról, Norvégiából, Lengyelországból, Portugáliából, Spanyolországból és Törökországból.

💡 Két intenzív nap során áttekintettük a projekt eddigi eredményeit, megvitattuk a következő időszak szakmai feladatait, valamint közösen dolgoztunk a projekt sikeres megvalósítását támogató stratégiai és kockázatkezelési kérdéseken.

🧪 A program részeként ellátogattunk az IUNG-PIB laboratóriumaiba is, ahol értékes szakmai tapasztalatokat és jó gyakorlatokat ismerhettünk meg.

🌱 Az együttműködés, a tudásmegosztás és a nemzetközi partnerség továbbra is a BioTreatED projekt egyik legfontosabb erőssége.

🌍 World Water Day Celebration & Suitability Workshop
Within the framework of World Water Day, the BioTreatED project team participated on March 23, 2026, in the workshop “World Water Day Celebration & Suitability,” featuring a presentation of the BioTreatED project by Dr. Andreia Fernandes.
👉 This workshop was organized by the CIIMAR research institute, in the context of the European PRIMA program, bringing together researchers to discuss innovative and sustainable solutions in water management.
💧 This initiative reinforced the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and the active involvement of researchers and stakeholders in the protection of water resources.

💧🌱 BioTreatED at the European Agricultural Forum 2026

The Water4All BioTreatED project was presented by IUNG-PIB at the European Agricultural Forum 2026 (EFF 2026), held in Jasionka–Rzeszów, Poland (April 1–2, 2026).

🇪🇺 The European Agricultural Forum is one of the most influential agricultural events in Poland and Central & Eastern Europe, focusing on:

🤝 agricultural policy
🌾 modern agricultural technologies
⚠️ the key challenges faced by food producers

The forum provides a unique platform for dialogue between farmers, agricultural producers, scientists, policymakers, and representatives of the European Commission. Its central objective is to identify and develop innovative solutions that strengthen the competitiveness of European agriculture.

🌍 Presenting BioTreatED in this high-level environment helped raise awareness of sustainable approaches for water quality protection and environmentally responsible agriculture.

🤝 We are grateful for the opportunity to share the project’s vision and to contribute to discussions shaping the future of European farming.
