❗ December brought a harsh reminder of the vulnerabilities organizations face, with major breaches at AWS, LoanDepot, and Ascension Health. Sensitive credentials, Social Security numbers, and medical data of millions were exposed, leaving countless individuals at risk. 🚨

𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐯𝐮𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬:
• 𝐀𝐖𝐒: Misconfigured systems led to exposed credentials, API keys, and source code.
• 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐭: Ransomware compromised the personal and financial data of 16.9 million customers.

• 𝐀𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡: Ransomware exposed sensitive medical and payment data of 5.6 million individuals.
• 𝐑𝐡𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Cyberattack revealed Social Security and bank details of hundreds of thousands.
• 𝐒𝐑𝐏 𝐅𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: Ransomware impacted 240,742 members' sensitive information.
• 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐲 𝐊𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞: Cyberattack disrupted online ordering systems.
