Yesterday, we held ISB's Sports Day, which included lots of fun activities. Everyone participated, from the youngest children to secondary school students. It was a day full of laughter, sweat, and good times. ⚽️🏐🎯✨
It's a fitting way to say goodbye to another school year before the summer holidays. 🌞😁

This weekend, the challenge finally came to life. 👀
Over two days, Mr Juan ran a total of 90.5 km along the Danube, covering 48.5 km on Saturday and 42 km on Sunday, from Esztergom to Budapest. The route passed through some of Hungary's most iconic riverside towns and landscapes, including Visegrád, Szentendre, and the beautiful Danube Bend, before finishing in front of the Hungarian Parliament. 🏃♂️🏞️
What made the finish line especially memorable was seeing that some students, families, colleagues, and friends from our wider school community had chosen to stop by and show their support. It was a lovely surprise and a reminder of how powerful a community can be when people come together around a shared purpose.
Thank you to everyone who followed the journey, shared the story, sent messages of encouragement, or came to cheer along the way.
At ISB, we are always proud to support initiatives like this and to celebrate the passions, projects, and causes that members of our community pursue beyond the school day. 🙌
We believe that making a positive impact does not stop when lessons end, and we are grateful to be part of a community that strives to make a difference both inside and outside the classroom.

Summer trips have begun at ISB this week.
Most of our secondary school students went on a trip to Lake Balaton to get into the summer spirit before the final week of term. 🌞🏕️
They are enjoying countless activities, such as an adventure park, swimming, team games, and setting up a campfire to roast some marshmallows for the night. 🔥✨

This morning, our Fifth Grade students had the opportunity to visit the Spanish Embassy in Budapest to present their final Geography project of the year.
over the past weeks, students have been working on a Project-Based Learning unit that brought together many of the geographical concepts and skills explored throughout the semester. Through research, map work, regional studies, and collaborative tasks, they developed a deeper understanding of Spain’s geography, landscapes, culture, and regional diversity.
The project culminated in a presentation at the Spanish Embassy in front of His Excellency Luis Ángel Redondo, Ambassador of Spain to Hungary, and Ms Marta Álvarez, Education Attaché, providing students with a unique opportunity to showcase their learning in an authentic and highly motivating setting.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to His Excellency Luis Ángel Redondo and Ms Marta Álvarez for their warm welcome, generosity, and genuine interest in the students’ work. Their support made this a truly memorable learning experience and a wonderful way to celebrate the culmination of months of hard work."

With the end of the school year approaching, it is difficult to keep students busy in the classroom. During one of their lessons, Grade 1 practised their gardening skills. 🪴🌱
They drew their own little mushroom house and planted grass seeds for the lawn. 😎🍄

What a fantastic House Day for our Primary School students!
Students took part in a range of sports, creative, and intellectual challenges as they moved through the stations with their classes. At each station, they worked in their house teams, earning points through teamwork, effort, and problem-solving. 🔴🔵🟡🟢
It was great to see so much house spirit throughout the day, with students cheering each other on and giving every challenge their best shot. Congratulations to Margit Mammoths for finishing in first place and winning this year's House Day competition! 🏆🥳
