2 days ago was exactly a month of my stay in Budapest. I can tell you a lot of my thoughts about this wonderful city, but later.
Today I want to make this post useful for Ukrainian women who escaped to Budapest with kids. So share it if you know some of them 💚.
----------------------
I know how difficult is to stay alone with a small kid without anybody's help. Here is the list of places that you can visit for free!!! and rest a little bit while your kid is enjoying playing.
-------

✅ Gellérthegyi playground with slides - в основном горки, на которые прикольно залазить.

✅ Main Playground in Városliget - самое большое и классное, что я видела. Тут даже взрослым классно поиграть)))

✅ Остров Маргит - детские площадки есть, но они обычные, но зато тут классное место для пикника, японский парк и мини зоопарк, очень маленький, но бесплатный для всех.

А вообще мне подруга сказала, что самый быстрый способ искать детскую площадку, это на карте найти зелёные места, там парки, а значит и площадки точно есть. Проверяла, это теория работает 💚

What do Ukrainians think about Russians?

First of all, you need to understand what Ukrainians see every day to understand why they feel what they feel.

Every day Ukrainians see Russian troops killing people, buildings (someone's homes, schools, hospitals) are on fire, rockets, tanks, etc. A good life that was before looks like a dream now. Russian soldiers are brutally attacking Ukraine.

Every day Ukrainians see on social media that Russians continue their daily lives without changes, with no sympathy for Ukrainians, even more, a lot of Russians say that Putin's actions are great.

Ukrainians try to write Russians and explain what's going on, but in response, Russians write "you are N**i, you all should be killed". Who are N**is here?

So what do you think Ukrainians feel?

I'm glad I know some good Russian people. The position of the Russian person which I understand: "I fully understand that there is a war in Ukraine and Russian soldiers are killing civilians. It's a terrible situation and it shouldn't be like that. I understand why we have sanctions, we chose this government and are fully responsible for it. I understand why Ukrainians are angry at Russians and they have the right to be angry." People who I know write me this, that's why I'm lucky to know such people. But unfortunately, it's a minority.

Most support Putin.

There is the third type of Russian people. An interesting one. They say they want to have peace but complain about sanctions because they are innocent. They complain that Ukrainians are angry at Russians, that Ukrainians are wishing Russians to have the same what's going on now in Ukraine, forgetting about one small point: Ukrainians are just wishing, Russians are killing

So? Why Ukrainians are angry at Russians?

For a long time, I was thinking about what to do... I didn't have any desire to post anything at all, as nothing happened... But something happened and it's terrible!

I found out the way to be useful! A lot of you ask me to translate some videos, some posts, even people with quite good Russian, because usually topics about war are not taught, and you don't know all this vocabulary.

I decided to teach you these words so you can understand better what's going on 💚!

Something that you need to know if you are chatting with a Russian speaker:

))) means “LOL.” That’s the first thing that you should know about Russian text messaging. Typically, instead of “normal” emoticons, Russians use brackets.

Some expressions may be confusing, so let’s study them.

Норм (norm) is an abbreviation of Нормально (normal`no) and means “Okay.”

Да тоже ничего (Da tozhe nichego) is a widely used expression that basically means “I am also good.” If you wanna say just “I am good,” use Да ничего так (Da nichego tak).

Да (da) here doesn’t mean “Yes.” It has no definite meaning and serves as a sentence opener in spoken language (E.g. Да ты поправился! (Da ty popravilsya!) “You gained some weight!”).

Ничего (nichego) is translated as “nothing” and basically means “nothing specific is going on in my life, everything is like usual.”

The opening bracket ((( represents sadness or crying.

The table above ⬆️ revises the possible preposition and case combinations for going to and from somewhere. Note particularly the following:

• If you use в/на (+ prepositional) for position, you will use в/на (+ accusative) for direction;

• If you are at a person/person’s house (the doctor, а friend’s house), use у + gen.

• If you go to a person (the doctor, a friend’s house) use к + dat.

And I think most important to remember:
• The opposite of в is из.
• The opposite of на is с.
• The opposite of к is от.

P.s. I used to table for the picture from my student's homework, he is very hardworking and likes to colour all the ending according to cases. I hope he doesn't mind 🥰.

Save this post not to lose this useful table 😉
