📍 Study Visit to Hospital in the Rock
Students of John Wesley Theological College recently took part in an educational field visit to the historic Sziklakórház (Hospital in the Rock) as part of their academic program.
Led by Prof. Mislai Ildikó, the visit offered participants valuable historical and social insights through an immersive learning experience beyond the classroom. The program was especially significant for social work students, for whom participation was a mandatory component of their studies.
Experiential education plays a vital role in connecting academic knowledge with real-world understanding.

Anthropology beyond the classroom 🌍
Our field trip in Budapest began near Deák Ferenc tér, where we walked together through the city, learning from its vibrant street art and expressive wall works that reflect culture and everyday life. A refreshing pause before exams, this experience reminded us that learning happens everywhere, not just in lectures, but in the streets and stories around us. Special thanks to all our students for showing up, engaging, and making the day meaningful.
