As we prepare for another exciting school year, we are delighted to welcome a number of talented new teachers to our school community.

Meet Hayley, our new Mathematics teacher.

"I’m joining BISB as a maths teacher who has experience of teaching in the UK, Budapest, and Dubai. My favourite area to teach is statistics because I enjoy exploring real-world problems and encouraging students to think critically. Outside of school, I like to stay active by running, doing yoga, and taking gym classes. I recently completed my first half marathon!"

We're delighted to welcome Hayley and look forward to the expertise, enthusiasm, and inspiration she will bring to our students throughout the year.

We were delighted to welcome our new teachers and staff to BISB and we wish them all the very best for a successful year ahead.

They were welcomed to our community by our Principal Mr Russell and the Senior Management Team, took a tour of our purpose-built campus, and were introduced to the history, people, values, and vision that are at the heart of BISB. It was a wonderful opportunity to begin building relationships and becoming part of our community.

Meet Jane, our new Director of Performing Arts.

Jane has a vast wealth of experience from both the UK and South Eat Asia. As a trumpet player and conductor she is passionate about creating musical experiences which enable students to find their own passions within the performing arts. She inspires and creates a culture of excellent learning and high expectations whether it be in the classroom or in an extra curricular activity.

"I have found that music is a force of nature, it feeds the soul, inspiring and enabling us to grow. I look forward to sharing my love of music and the arts with all at BISB. I will be following my love of music as a performer and as an audience member outside of school, also enjoying the countryside and culture of Budapest."

As summer begins to wind down, we're looking back on the moments that made it so special.

From outdoor adventures and creative activities to laughter, friendship, and unforgettable memories, BISB Summer Camp was a wonderful way for our campers to learn, explore, and enjoy every moment of the season together.

A heartfelt thank you to our fantastic campers, dedicated staff, and supportive families for making this summer one to remember. Your enthusiasm, kindness, and sense of adventure made every day truly special.

We hope all of our BISB families have enjoyed a wonderful summer break, and we look forward to welcoming our community back to campus soon for another exciting year of learning, discovery, and new adventures.

Meet Leanne, our new Primary teacher.

"Originally from the Wirral, Merseyside, I bring over 12 years of international teaching experience from schools in China, Singapore and the Netherlands. I've taught across primary schools, with experience as a year leader and as subject leader for mathematics. I believe in a provision that is engaging, challenging, and celebrates a child's work.

Outside of school, you'll usually find me in one of Budapest's excellent parks with my two boys or throwing a ball for my dog Ziggy."
