Do you think turboprop aircraft can cross the Atlantic?

It might be surprising, but the answer is yes, they can do that!
Most turboprop planes are designed as short-haul aircraft and don’t have the range for such a single-hop trip. But with making intermediate stops in Greenland and Iceland, with no legs longer than 700 miles, even short-range turboprops can make the trip.
Turboprops are slower, despite being more efficient, for a long trip, and the added flight time starts to get to the point where it’s a problem. They are not built for long flights. But building a long-range turboprop is no issue at all. For military purposes, there are a few examples.
Some longer-range turboprops can make that trip in a single hop, especially at lighter weights. For example, the Airbus 400 can make that at fewer loads. The Tupolev 95 could also cross the Atlantic and fly back without refuelling.
As for civilian flights, the Constellation (nicknamed Connie) was a propeller-driven, four-engined airliner built by Lockheed Corporation in 1943. The Constellation series was the first pressurized-cabin civil airliner series to go into widespread use. Its pressurized cabin enabled commercial passengers to fly well above lousy weather for the first time, thus significantly improving the general safety and ease of air travel. Its transatlantic service started in 1946 with a New York-Paris flight. Later, Pan Am opened the first-ever scheduled round-the-world service using that type.
Another example of the past, there was an aeroplane specifically designed for transatlantic flights. It is not in service anymore, but in the late 1950s, the British Bristol Aeroplane company built the Britannia, having a maximum range of almost 4,000 miles. They used it for the first-ever nonstop flight between London and Canada and regular flights between London and New York later. A total number of 85 aircraft were built before production ended in 1960. Canadair produced an additional 72 under license. They were used as cargo aircraft until the 1990s.

A prank where a pilot celebrates landing a plane at the airport and ends up getting cheered by everyone. Comedy channel Trollstation pulled the prank where a comedian dressed as a pilot and very publicly celebrated having landed his first plane ever at Heathrow Airport near London. In the video, passengers appear a little confused at first but then join in and congratulate the pilot. Trollstation said that they rented the uniform and made the video to entertain the public. They loved it! Trollstation is a comedy channel that regularly posts comedic pranks.
