The opportunity
We are looking for a responsible and proactive Personal Assistant to help two professionals with their professional, personal and household matters. The couple works in the fields of progressive education, film-making, climate change and sustainability. They have two cool, not-spoiled sons (12 and 15 year olds).
This is a 21st-century job setup, working in our office or remotely, meeting a few times a week in person and collaborating online. The successful candidate will work independently while learning and developing themselves. The job involves managing projects, making things happen, organising, administrative tasks and running household errands.
What you will be doing
Help the couple with professional research and organisational needs in film, education and sustainability areas
Keep the private company administration in order, manage invoicing, expense reports, filing, simple databases, and keep in contact with the accountants
Manage personal administration matters
Do travel research and bookings
Run errands, online and in-person shopping and purchasing (on occasion)
Manage household improvements by finding the right service people
Housesit for the dogs and cat on occasion for a few days, a weekend or longer - to be agreed every time
Manage your tasks and projects autonomously, continuously update on progress and ensure deadlines are met
There is the possibility to get involved in the professional projects of the couple at a deeper level
To be successful, you would
Have a driver’s license and good driving skills
Solve problems independently and be able to work alone
Have a positive and proactive personality
Be fluent in Hungarian and English
Be fully trustworthy and discrete
Care about your work, the people you work with, the causes and your own development
Be tidy, and enjoy creating order and structure
Being comfortable with numbers and accounts would be an advantage
Thrive on handling multiple concurrent assignments with great prioritisation skills
Know how to use Google Docs, Sheets and Slides
