🌡️ When Fever isn't the Answer: Infected tadpoles cool themselves to fight viruses

Researchers from ELTE Eötvös Loránd University and the HUN-REN Hungarian Research Network have now experimentally demonstrated that an ectothermic vertebrate infected with a virus actively seeks cooler, rather than warmer, environments to regulate its body temperature.

📌 What to do before you arrive at ELTE?

💻 Get your Neptun ID and password!

❕ Neptun is ELTE's online registry system for courses, exams, results, finances, and messages from your professors. Most new students get their Neptun ID from their Faculty International Coordinator before arrival.

💬 Once you have it, create your password online and check the Help menu to get familiar with the system.

📝 Enrolment or registration - know the difference!

🎓 Degree-seeking students → Must enrol to establish student status (part online, part in person). Bring all required original documents!
🌍 Exchange students → Must register so your status is recorded in Neptun before arrival.

❕In both cases, your Faculty International Coordinator will guide you through the process.
