Welcome to The Plastilina Club—a calm corner of the internet for people who need a creative reset.

We make, we breathe, we build small things by hand, and we feel better for it.

My first post since 2020. The previous post was about this Roman mini bath in progress. I found some pictures that do show some progress. I miss making these clay models, so therapeutic and incredibly educational. Enjoy and leave a comment or like. Both are greatly appreciated! ☺️

Model of Roman theatre and temple. We make history and art fun through creativity. Models like these take time to construct, this took approximately about 1 year to complete with 2-3 hours of work a few times a week.

I made this Pompeii style Roman house in the summer. I enjoyed every bit of the process, and learnt so much about domestic architecture in Pompeii. My short visit to Pompeii itself in May was a great inspiration, I must say.

Our life is what our thoughts make it. - Marcus Aurelius

This little model of the Temple of Vesta goes well with the basilica Julia.
