Making hand-stretched strudel is pure magic. ✨
No wonder everyone wants to know the secret.
My mum taught me how to make strudel, and she learned it from her mum – my grandmother. This is how the knowledge is passed down from generation to generation. Of course, everyone adds something of their own, and that’s what makes the dough and the filling truly divine.
But for me, strudel-making is about much more than baking.
It’s a shared experience. It’s at its best when made together with family, friends, or a team.
This is the feeling I want to pass on through my courses, because there’s nothing better than creating something good, something delicious, together. 🤍
👉 What do you think? What makes baking together special for you?

Goodbye 2025! ✨
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who chose us this year — who cooked with us and discovered the flavors of Hungarian cuisine together with us.
2025 was truly a special year. It brought many new challenges, exciting projects, and new classes — including our chimney cake workshop, which you loved just as much as we did. Rozi also joined our team, while our well-loved programs continued to grow and evolve.
We learned so much along the way and had the pleasure of meeting amazing people from all over the world — from Australia and England to the United States, and even Guatemala.
In 2026, we continue this journey with the same passion and enthusiasm, carrying all the knowledge and experience we’ve gained. Our goal remains the same: to share Hungarian cuisine and culture through our food, so you can recreate it at home and pass it on to others.
Thank you once again, and sending you a big hug!
✨ Happy New Year to everyone! ✨

The kitchen island in our studio isn’t just a piece of furniture – it’s the heart of the kitchen. 💛
In both of our studios, the cooktops aren’t pushed up against the wall – they’re right in the middle, built into the island.
That’s where everyone gathers: we chop, peel, cook, taste, chat, laugh, and pass the spoon around – because cooking here is all about connection and fun. 👩‍🍳✨
P.S. If we have a bigger group, we can easily add extra islands and cooktops – because creating true hands-on experiences is what we care about most.
So… shall we start cooking? 😄

When the weather is kind, we enjoy the dishes we cook together outside on the terrace.
Here’s a little before / after look — the long table, the lights, and great company always make these dinners so special. 🌿✨

Sweet moments from today’s Chimney Cake Workshop! ✨
We mixed, rolled, stretched, baked… and laughed a lot along the way. 🥖🔥
Everyone made their very own chimney cake – crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and rolled in their favorite flavor. 😋
This dessert has a long history, dating back to the 16th century.
Would you like to try it too? Join us next time and bake with us! 💛

This is more than cooking — it’s a story about connection, love, and food. 🍲

Always grateful for my dear guests ❤️
that you choose to spend part of your holiday in our kitchen —
cooking with us, learning about Hungarian food, customs & culture.
Most of you I meet only once…
but let me share a heartwarming story. 🥰
Karla & Kevin first cooked with me back in 2018 (we didn’t know each other before).
Then came Covid — and they were among the very first to ask for online cooking classes, even inviting their friends. 👩‍🍳💻
In 2022, when traveling was possible again, they returned to Budapest.
We visited a different market, cooked different dishes — but the essence stayed the same:
we were together again, and their love for Budapest & Hungarian food was still going strong. 🇭🇺
And now… in 2025, we cooked together in my kitchen once more.
Funny enough, it was the same menu as 7 years ago!
I can’t imagine anything more touching — this is a truly special bond. 💛
Thank you, Karla & Kevin!
P.S.: At the very start of the war in Ukraine, I got a message from them:
“Hope you’re safe in Hungary. If there’s anything we can do to help, please let us know.”
Moments like these stay in my heart forever. ❤️

Palacsinta (Hungarian crêpe) 🇭🇺🥞
One of the most beloved desserts in Hungary!
Thin, soft, and light — these crêpes melt in your mouth.
Popular fillings include:
🍑 Apricot jam
🍫 Cocoa powder with sugar
🍶 Sweet cottage cheese cream
No matter how you fill it… it’s simply heavenly. 😍
What’s your favorite filling?
