🎓 MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2026 at ELTE Faculty of Informatics (Budapest, Hungary)

Are you a postdoctoral researcher working at the intersection of enterprise systems, business process management, data science, and AI?

The ELTE Faculty of Informatics (Budapest, Hungary) is looking for outstanding researchers interested in applying for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships 2026.

The successful fellow will join our Department of Data Science and Engineering and collaborate with the BPIE Research Group (Business Process, Data Science & Intelligent Enterprise Systems).

We welcome research proposals in areas including:
- Intelligent Enterprise Systems
- Data Science & Big Data Analytics
- Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence
- Process Mining
- AI-driven Business Applications
- Interdisciplinary research with industrial impact

Researchers with interests related to SAP technologies, enterprise architecture, business transformation, process intelligence, and AI for enterprise applications are especially encouraged to connect with us.

Robots are no longer a vision of the distant future. From healthcare and education to manufacturing and autonomous exploration, intelligent robotic systems are increasingly becoming part of our everyday lives.

At the Intelligent Robotics FAIR 2026, jointly organized by the ELTE Faculty of Informatics and Bosch Hungary, leading researchers, engineers, industry experts, and innovators explored the future of human–robot collaboration, embodied AI, healthcare robotics, autonomous systems, and the factories of tomorrow.

The three-day event featured inspiring keynote talks, expert discussions, live demonstrations, a robotics exhibition, and the popular Meet a Robot Day, bringing cutting-edge research and innovation closer to students, professionals, and the wider public.

Robots in the Workplace – Are We Ready to Work Together with Them? The latest trends in robotics and applied AI were showcased at the ELTE-Bosch Intelligent Robotics FAIR 2026 between June 18-20.

📚 The papers from the Spring 2025/2026 Student Research Conference (TDK) are now available!
At the TDK conference hosted at the Bosch Budapest Innovation Campus, the Informatics Science Section of the Faculty of Informatics at ELTE broke all previous records, with a total of 62 student presentations across five sections, covering topics including programming languages, machine learning and data science, computer graphics, networks, and cybersecurity.

QS ranking: ELTE regained the lead in Hungary In the global ranking listing more than 1,500 institutions, Eötvös Loránd University achieved the 595th place and took first place in Hungary according to Quacquarelli Symonds.

The first professional day of the Intelligent Robotics FAIR 2026, held at the Faculty of Informatics of Eötvös Loránd University, brought together the most exciting developments in Hungary’s robotics and artificial intelligence ecosystem in one place, connecting university research, innovative technology companies, and industrial applications.

Visitors had the opportunity to explore quadruped, humanoid, and industrial robots developed by Bosch Rexroth, Kassow Robots, INFUZE Robotics, Unitree Robotics, Hunify Labs, and Enjoy Robotics. Researchers from the Faculty of Informatics also showcased a wide range of developments, from field robotics and drone technologies to a robot arm capable of playing the piano.
