🇵🇹 Teachers from Portugal on a Job Shadowing Visit in Budapest

👩‍🏫Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of welcoming teachers from Associação de Pais e Enc. Educação da Escola Secundária de Pinhal Novo (Portugal) for an Erasmus+ job shadowing mobility in Budapest.
🌐Through visits to Kölcsey Ferenc Gimnázium and Vörösmarty Mihály Gimnázium, participants explored the Hungarian education system, observed lessons, shared professional experiences and developed new international connections.
💡Erasmus+ mobilities remind us that some of the best learning happens when educators come together, exchange ideas and learn from one another.

🇭🇺🤝🇨🇿Job-shadowing activity in Prague

🇪🇺Two of our colleagues participated in a one-week job-shadowing mobility in Prague, Czech Republic, within the framework of our Erasmus+ Adult Learning grant (2025-1-HU01-KA122-ADU-000343279).
💡The aim of the mobility was to gain insight and learn good practices in the processes of organizing local courses. They also got to know the Czech education system.
🔗During the week, in cooperation with Synergy and EDUCAnet Course Center, they got to know different educational and project management strategies that can be applied in different stages of adult education. Special attention was paid to a detailed discussion of quality assurance aspects, and future development opportunities were also identified.
🌐An important element of the week was a strategic meeting, where they jointly thought about how our company could expand its adult education opportunities and services.
🏰In addition to the professional program, our colleagues also participated in cultural activities, during which they could learn about the history and attractions of Prague.
✅At the end of the visit, our colleagues received a certificate of participation, recognizing the knowledge they gained during the program and their commitment to development.
This visit greatly contributes to the development of our company and the application of new methods and tools in future projects.

🇮🇹✨ We had the opportunity to take part in a professional Erasmus+ job‑shadowing mobility in Avezzano, Italy, where three colleagues from Gordius Learning visited our long‑standing partner, AMFI International
During the mobility, we gained valuable insight into their full workflow and daily professional practices:
✅Visiting the Hungarian VET students completing their internships in Italy
✅Observing how AMFI International conducts monitoring visits and student evaluations
✅Learning about their step‑by‑step processes — from receiving initial interest, through programme planning, to implementation and quality assurance
✅Following their methodology for programme development, documentation and follow‑up
✅Exchanging best practices in international cooperation, mobility coordination and project management

🔗This job‑shadowing mobility provided a comprehensive view of how a strong Erasmus+ partner operates, helping us refine our own processes and further strengthen our collaboration.

🇪🇸🇪🇺✨We were honoured to welcome a 4‑member teacher group from IES Francisco de Orellana - Trujillo (Spain) for their Erasmus+ job‑shadowing mobility in Budapest between 18–23 May 2026.
Their 4‑day professional visit consisted of a rich and diverse programme, offering deep insight into the Hungarian education system and everyday school life.

The mobility included:

✅English, Literature, Spanish, Mathematics, Science and Geography lesson observations
✅Professional discussions on differentiation, methodology, and subject‑specific teaching approaches

We recently had the pleasure of hosting a group of 6 teachers from Kupiškis Technology and Business School 🇱🇹 in Budapest 🇭🇺 between 26 April and 2 May, arriving through our partnership with Baltic Mobility 🌐✈️.
Their group represented a diverse range of professions:

Throughout their job shadowing week, they visited Váci SzC Petzelt József Technikum és Szakképző Iskola - Szentendre and Zsámbéki Premontrei Technikum, Szakképző Iskola és Gimnázium, observed lessons , explored the Hungarian VET system 📚, and took part in cultural programs in Budapest and Zsámbék .
As part of their professional program, they also visited the Europe Experience Center 🇪🇺 — an inspiring interactive space showcasing the values and diversity of the European Union.
In addition, they gained a unique insight into Hungarian traditions 🇭🇺 and experienced how schools prepare for the upcoming graduation ceremonies (ballagás) 🎓 — a truly special moment in Hungarian school life.
