🪖🌍How does the war in Iran impact Europe?
This question was examined at the War in Iran – Strategic Shockwaves: Implications for Europe conference, organized by the Directorate General for International Affairs at Ludovika University of Public Service on the 9th of June.
Bringing together experts from diplomacy, research institutions, the main factors for both short and long-term consequences of this ongoing conflict were addressed. Discussions focused on energy security, the stability of global supply chains, EU-Iran relations, transatlantic cooperation, and the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz.
📌 As unpredictibility continues to shape that geopolitical environment, another question emerges: can diplomacy still prevent further escalation?
