Interreg VI-A Hungary-Croatia Programme

Fundación CEER with The Border Regions Peer Exchange is looking for 100 visitors to join 10 exchange visits across Europe. Applications close on 7 September at 17:00!

Each visit lasts two to three days and brings together people working on shared cross-border challenges: access to public services, cross-border healthcare, employment cooperation, coordination during floods. The 50 highest-ranked applicants receive a lump sum of up to €750.

🏃‍♀️🌿 Dabrov pot 2026 – the Beaver Trail

On Saturday, 18 July 2026, Općina Legrad will host Dabrov pot 2026 – the Beaver Trail, a unique trail-running event at the confluence of the Mura and Drava rivers.

The event takes its name from the beaver, an animal native to this area and now the official mascot of the race and a symbol of Legrad. The routes lead along forest trails and the banks of the Drava through the Mura–Drava Regional Park, one of the most attractive parts of the European Amazonas. Participants will run or walk through shaded forests, gravel bars and pristine riverside landscapes, close to the Veliki Pažut Ornithological Reserve.

🦫 Veliki Dabar – Big Beaver: 15 km
🦫 Mali Dabar – Little Beaver: 7 km
🦫 Dabrić – Beaver Cub: 3.5 km
👧🧒 Children’s races: 100 m, 300 m and 600 m

The event is organised as a sports and tourism promotional activity within the Amazon of Europe Bike Trail Hungary–Croatia project, highlighting active tourism opportunities along the European Amazon cycling route in Koprivničko-križevačka županija.
