A Budapest Film Academy számára mindig különösen izgalmas időszak, amikor egy olyan produkció ér a végső szakaszába, amelyben oktatóink és hallgatóink egyaránt aktív szerepet vállaltak.
A film fejlesztése során több tanárunk is szakmai tanácsaival segítette a munkát, köztük David Clawson és Patricia Meyer forgatókönyvíró professzorok, a Loyola Marymount Universityről érkezett vendégoktatóink, valamint a végső vágási folyamatban Mózes Gyula vágóoktatónk. Az előkészítés és a forgatás során számos BFA-s diákunk dolgozott a produkcióban, akik mind értékes szakmai tapasztalatként emlékeznek vissza erre az időszakra. Munkájuk elismeréseként az IMDb-n is szerepelni fognak produkciós kreditekkel.

A rendezői vágat már elkészült, jelenleg a utómunka zajlik: dialógusvágás, zörej- és hangtervezés, valamint az eredeti filmzene készítése. Ezt követi a hangkeverés és a fényelés, utóbbi Dobos Tamás operatőrrel együttműködésben.

A film főbb szerepeiben olyan kiváló színészek láthatók, mint Dietz Gusztáv, Ujlaki Dénes, Molnár Piroska és Vilmányi Benett.
A tervek szerint a film legkésőbb nyár végére elkészül, a premierre pedig szeptember elején kerül sor.

🎥 Büszkék vagyunk arra, hogy hallgatóink nemcsak az órákon tanulhatnak a filmkészítésről, hanem valódi produkciókban is részt vehetnek, tapasztalt szakemberek mellett dolgozva. Ez a Budapest Film Academy gyakorlatorientált képzésének egyik legnagyobb értéke.

It is always an exciting time for Budapest Film Academy when a production reaches its final stages, especially one in which both our instructors and students have played an active role.

Throughout the development of the film, 'Only the Whites of Our Eyes', several members of our faculty contributed their expertise and guidance, including screenwriting professors David Clawson and Patricia Meyer, visiting lecturers from Loyola Marymount University, as well as our editing instructor Gyula Mózes, who provided valuable support during the final editing process.

Many BFA students also participated in the pre-production and production phases of the film, gaining hands-on experience in a professional filmmaking environment. As recognition of their work, they will receive production credits on IMDb.

The director’s cut has now been completed, and post-production is currently underway, including dialogue editing, sound design, Foley work, and the creation of an original score. The next stages will be sound mixing and color grading, the latter in collaboration with cinematographer Tamás Dobos.

The film features an outstanding cast, including Gusztáv Dietz, Dénes Ujlaki, Piroska Molnár, and Benett Vilmányi.

The film is expected to be completed by the end of the summer, with a premiere planned for early September.
