A City Can Be a Classroom Too
Education does not stop when the lesson ends.
During their Erasmus+ week in Hungary, our Spanish guests explored some of the country's most iconic places, including the Royal Palace of Gödöllő, the Hungarian Parliament, Buda Castle, and the beautiful Danube River.
They discovered history through stories.
Culture through experiences.
And Hungary through the eyes of local students.
One of the most memorable moments was watching Budapest light up during a sunset cruise on the Danube.
Sometimes a single experience can teach more than a chapter in a textbook.
At AIC, we believe that learning happens everywhere.
In classrooms.
In conversations.
In museums.
On city streets.
And through the unforgettable moments shared with others.
What is the most beautiful city you have ever visited?

Learning Beyond Borders,
What happens when students from two countries share the same classroom?
New ideas.
New perspectives.
New friendships.
This May, we welcomed Erasmus+ students from Spain to Avicenna International College for an unforgettable week of learning and cultural exchange.
They joined our classes, participated in workshops, practiced languages, shared experiences, and quickly became part of our community.
What began as a school visit soon became something much more meaningful.
Students discovered that despite different backgrounds, languages, and cultures, they share many of the same dreams, ambitions, and interests.
At AIC, international education is not something we talk about.
It is something we live every day.
Because some of the most important lessons in life are learned from people, not textbooks.
Which country would you love to visit as part of a student exchange program?

Some moments are not just remembered.
They are felt.
April 30 was one of those moments.
A day of memories, laughter, and quiet emotions.
A day that marked the end of one chapter
and the beginning of something new.
At AIC, graduation is never just about finishing school.
It is about growth.
It is about becoming.
To our Grade 12 students:
You carry your story forward now.
And this is only the beginning.

Where Learning Shapes the Future
15/05/2026
This week, Avicenna International College in Budapest hosted a special gathering to mark the launch of the Decorative Art section of Ars Persica.
More than an opening, it was a moment of connection. A space where conversations formed naturally, where artworks were not only observed, but experienced.
The collection presented during the event features the works of Farzad Zahedi , whose artistic vision and craftsmanship have shaped the identity of this new space from the very beginning.
At AIC, we believe education is not limited to classrooms. It grows through culture, creativity, and real human experience.
Ars Persica reflects this vision. A space where art is not only displayed, but lived with. Where it enters real environments, inspires new ideas, and becomes part of everyday life.

One week in Cluj-Napoca, many new ideas to bring back home.
As part of an Erasmus+ Job Shadowing program, Réka Katona from AIC spent a week at János Zsigmond Unitarian College, observing literature classes, creative teaching methods, student projects, and school life in a Hungarian minority educational environment.
From slam poetry competitions to discussion-based literature lessons, the experience offered practical insights into how schools can encourage creativity, participation, and deeper student engagement.
Thank you to our partners in Cluj-Napoca for the warm welcome and inspiring exchange.
