2009 Class trip to Fort Jaques in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to learn about the fight and the victory of Haitian independence. Fort Jacques takes its name from Jean-Jacques Dessalines, who was then the emperor of Haiti. It was used to look out over the entire bay of Port-au-Prince, giving defenders advanced warning of any naval attacks.
-En 2009, des étudiants de la CMM ont visité le Fort Jacques à Port-au-prince, en Haïti, pour en apprendre davantage sur la lutte et la victoire de l'indépendance haïtienne.
