Do you know these people?

I'll start! Once upon a time, God spoke to two people through the Holy Spirit and said, "Do you trust me? Will you give me your complete trust and obedience? Will you allow me to use you to do something beautiful that will touch more lives than you can even imagine? All you have to do is give me your YES." Their response, "Yes Lord... your will be done."

It all started with a simple "YES" and then a vision, a deep-rooted love for the children of Port-au-Prince, and two incredible hearts: Tom and Linda Counts. ❤️ Long before the classrooms were filled with laughter, learning, and the sound of English being spoken, Tom and Linda laid the groundwork for what TLC (Tom and Linda Count's) Barefoot School would become.

Looking at this photo brings back a flood of memories for anyone who walked through our doors, visited our campus, or worked alongside them. We see remnants of Tom and Linda's "YES" to this very day an entire generation later, especially now that some of TLC's very own graduates serve on the board and or committees or at the school, helping lead the mission and continue this legacy.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Tom, Linda and their beautiful family who poured countless hours of love, blood, sweat and tears into this beautiful Kingdom work. The world is a better place because of it.
