THREE QUESTIONS FOR EVERY LEADER

Tonight, whether you lead a country, state, organization, ministry, business, community, or household, ask yourself:

1. Am I protecting my position, or fulfilling my assignment?

2. Do the needs and conditions of the people I serve still matter to me?

3. Is my authority building people and systems, or merely increasing my control?

A leader can use authority to release resources.

To rebuild institutions.

To restore systems.

To create opportunity.

To establish order.

To make room for people to fulfill their own assignments.

That is stewardship.
