Eagle school Haiti
Kindergarten graduation July 2024
This year we underline medical careers. It was such a difficult school year with all the conflicts going on in Haiti but God was really present.
We made it! Thank you to all our dedicated donors who keeps donating again and again that we can better support the least of these of Haiti. We are very grateful.
Thank from the bottom of my heart.

Congratulation to our Teacher Pierrette who taught a cooking class to the 3rd grade at Eagle School. Cooking classes in schools offer students essential life skills, promote healthy eating, and foster creativity. Students learn nutrition, balanced meals, and culinary skills. These classes also develop cultural awareness, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork. They provide hands-on learning, integrating subjects like math and science.

Happy Haiti National Teacher Day
It was a great time to honor them for all their hard work.

Teachers are essential members of our society. They are pillars of knowledge, shaping the future of our kids– they are educators, mentors, guides, and inspirations. Being a teacher is more than a job; it's a calling. You will encourage, lead, teach, and guide, leaving a lasting mark on every child's life

May 1rst, Agriculture and Labor Day in Haiti
May 1st is listed among the best Haiti public Holidays. Schools and most businesses are closed. Haitians pay tribute to all the farmers who works tirelessly to feed the population and stimulate the Haiti economy. We also celebrate our valiant workers, who daily, in various sectors, work in the economy to provide essential goods and services to the population.
Schools usually organize fun fair activities with all types of fruits, vegetables where teachers and students dress like African or country people.
Richcard, one of our students of 7th grade was our lecturer this year. He highlights the importance of plants for the environment. Students and staff members sit and listened carefully. Right after that we had a dance competition. Each teacher has delegated a representative of his class. The champion had a prize.
Our students of Eagle School Haiti brought all types of fruits and vegetables. We sliced them and ate together. We did give to each of our students a cup of tchaka each. Tchaka is a Haitian stew made from hominy, beans, pumpkin (joumou), and meat (usually pork).

Malnutrition analysis forecasts worrisome trends

While access of food is already a challenge for thousands of Haitians, the coming months will be ever more challenging, according to the latest malnutrition analysis conducted by the Haitian health ministry, FAO, UNICEF, WHO, with the situation expected to deteriorate from June to November 2024. About 276,000 children aged 6-59 months, pregnant and nursing women are at risk of acute malnutrition, including over 125,000 severe cases. Haiti’s malnutrition crisis results from a mix of factors including poverty, poor dietary and feeding practices, inadequate hygiene, and access to water. The current security crisis is also affecting access to food goods and services. Data from WFP in an assessment in 17 markets in regions like Grand-Anse, Nippes, Sud, and Sud-Est show a drastic rise in essential goods' prices due to supply route closures and supplier shortages. Proportionally to its population, Haiti ranks among the world’s largest malnutrition crisis.
