Congratulations to Lauren, who recently received the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses! 🌼⁠

Here is an excerpt from her nomination:
"My family member underwent a second transplant. While many nurses on the fourth floor provided excellent care, one nurse stood out — Lauren. As a nurse myself, I knew how important it was to have a nurse who could offer not just clinical care but also emotional support during such a challenging time. Lauren was that nurse for us. Our family member's journey was tough, and as days turned into months, it became clear they wouldn't win the battle. Lauren was there every step of the way, offering her expertise, compassion and kindness. In the final hours, Lauren ensured our family member was comfortable, free from anxiety or pain, and surrounded by love."⁠
