After detailed processing and interferometric analysis of SAR images of the Sentinel-1 system, our expert Branimir Radun, created a map of ground displacements that occurred as a result of a series of devastating earthquakes that hit the area of ​​Petrinja, Sisak and Glina. The map does not show strictly vertical ground displacements, but the difference in spatial distance between the recorded objects and satellites along the line-of-sight (LOS), which can be considered a combination of vertical and horizontal displacements.

The biggest ground displacements occurred in the area of ​​the town of Petrinja, with a “collapse” of as much as 30 centimeters. While the western part of the fault has a ground uplift of approximately 40 cm. The largest displacement occurred in the forest area surrounded by the towns of Slana, Glinska Poljana and Gora.

Naš stručnjak Branimir Radun, diplomirani i ovlašteni inženjer geodezije i geoinformatike i voditelj našeg Zavoda za upravljanje prirodnim resursima, napravio je konačnu analizu pomaka tla na područjima pogođenim tragičnim potresima koju smo objavili na našoj web stranici oikon.hr te ju prenosimo i ovdje:

Nakon detaljne obrade i interferometrijske analize SAR snimaka sustava Sentinel-1, napravljena je karta pomaka tla koji su nastali kao posljedica niza razornih potresa koji su pogodili područje Petrinje, Siska i Gline. Na karti nisu prikazani striktno vertikalni pomaci tla, već razlika u prostornoj udaljenosti između snimanih objekata i satelita duž linije snimanja (engl. Line-of-Sight, LOS) koja se može smatrati kombinacijom vertikalnih i horizontalnih pomaka.

Najveći pomaci tla dogodili su se na području grada Petrinje, gdje je došlo do „propadanja“ od čak 30 centimetara. Na zapadnom dijelu rasjeda došlo je do izdizanja tla od približno 40cm. Najveći pomak tla dogodio se u šumskom području okruženom mjestima Slana, Glinska Poljana i Gora.

Na području gradova Sisak i Glina dogodili su se pomaci do 3cm, što je na prvi pogled zanemarivo u odnosu na pomake na području Petrinje, ali su i takvi pomaci bili dovoljni za velike štete na objektima i infrastrukturi.

Podsjetimo se na zagrebački potres koji se dogodio u ožujku, tada se također radilo o pomacima sličnih manjih iznosa, ali svi smo mogli vidjeti kako je to utjecalo na Zagreb.

Naše rezultate vrlo rado ćemo podijeliti svim zainteresiranim institucijama te pozivamo seizmologe na suradnju i daljnju analizu potresa korištenjem daljinskih istraživanja.
