CEESA
CEESA; a movement for innovation where each learner’s experience is better tomorrow.
The Central & Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA) was founded as a result of the growth of American and International Schools in Central and Eastern Europe. In many cases, the schools were geographically isolated from each other and from the main stream of American and International Education. CEESA was formed to broaden the horizons of schools and to promote professional growth. CEESA i

CEESA has introduced three Associate Organization Membership levels: Affiliate, Collaborator, and Champion.
These options give companies flexible ways to connect with international schools, educators, and learning leaders across Central and Eastern Europe.
No school is an island. When trusted organizations share practical tools, services, and expertise, schools have more ways to support learning and strengthen their communities.

As this school year comes to a close, CEESA is already looking ahead.
We are planning for another year of learning, connection, and practical support for schools across the region. From professional learning to community conversations, we are excited to keep creating spaces where educators can share ideas, strengthen practice, and support student growth.
Because “No school is an island,” planning for next year means planning together.
Stay connected for upcoming CEESA opportunities and dates for the 2026–2027 school year.

Thank you for an excellent 4-day Adaptive Schools training in The International School of Krakow. It was a meaningful time of learning, reflection, and collaboration for educators across our community.
At CEESA, “No school is an island,” and this training was a strong example of that in action. “Our talents shine brighter when we share them,” and the ideas, questions, and strategies shared throughout the four days reflected exactly that.
"No school is an island" feels just as true today: our talents shine brighter when we share them.
Across sessions, conversations, and hallway moments, educators reminded each other that great teaching grows stronger when ideas are opened up, tested together, and brought back to our schools with care.
That spirit of The Heart and Art of Teaching still matters. It shows up in the practical strategies we try, the colleagues we lean on, and the small shifts that make learning better for students.
What is one takeaway from CEESA 2026 that has stayed with you? Share it in the comments.
Thank you to everyone who made the CEESA ICMEC Child Safeguarding and Protection Conference at American School of Warsaw such a meaningful learning experience.
We are grateful to our hosts, to the facilitators for sharing practical expertise, and to every participant who brought thoughtful questions, reflection, and a deep commitment to student safety and wellbeing.
In work like this, “No school is an island.” When schools come together to strengthen practice, share responsibility, and learn from one another, the whole community benefits.
Thank you for helping move this important work forward across our region.
