'A waste of time'

The service here is terrible. I'm going to complain to the manager.
It's a waste of time. That won't change anything.

'Sleep on it'

We use this expression to say that someone should not decide on something now, but should make a decision tomorrow - after thinking about it calmly.

Phrase of the day:

'So I see'

We use this expression to comment that we have seen or understood something the speaker has mentioned.

e.g.one: I'm afraid I haven't had time to clean the room!
So I see. It's pretty messy!

e.g. two: There's something wrong with the computer. If you press these keys, nothing happens.
So I see. We'll get someone to look at it for you.

What is Erasmus Plus + ?

Teacher Training

The Erasmus+ programme replaces the previous Life Long Learning programme. It provides funding for activities in education, training, youth and sport in all sectors of Lifelong Learning (Higher Education, Further Education, adult education, schools, youth activities etc).

This 7-year programme has a significantly bigger budget than previous EU funding programmes. This means more funding opportunities for you.

Under the KA 1 ( Key Action 1) of the Erasmus+ programme, it is now the organisation, school, university or college that applies for funding and not the individual teacher.

Erasmus+ funding contributes towards course fees, travel costs, accommodation and other living costs for individual teachers and groups of teachers and educators who wish to travel to Malta to follow our professional development courses.

ETI has over 6 years of experience in applying for EU funds. Please contact us for more information and assistance.
