eMed is the Student Council of the Medical Studies in English (MSE) programme at the University of Zagreb, School of Medicine. It is an independent, autonomous, and self-governing representative body. The Council comprises 12 elected Class Representatives and the Leader of the Council as full members, and associate members (without voting right). Students of the MSE Programme confer mandates to fu
ll members via anonymous elections conducted at the beginning of each academic year, while the Council appoints associate members in harmony with the principles of representative democracy and academic freedom. eMed fulfills its role by:
Maintaining formal correspondence between the MSE student body and the medical faculty,
Acting in the best interest of the MSE student body,
Providing a collective voice of the MSE student body,
Providing frameworks through which projects, complaints, student problems, and decisions involving the MSE students can be handled in a professional manner,
Facilitating the integration of the MSE program into Croatian society. eMed strives to maximise transparency to promote accountability. Current Class Representatives:
