A few more moments from Sarajevo!
The War Childhood Museum, displaying first hand accounts of childrens’ experiences during the siege of Sarajevo.

The market in Sarajevo showing heavy eastern influence which remains from its time as a part of the Ottoman Empire.

The Srebrenica Gallery, discussing the siege of Sarajevo and the Srebrenica genocide.

We visited during Ramadan and celebrated the breaking of fast with a traditional Bosnian meal.
•
We ended our trip with a hike and some time to reflect with a great view of the city.

Our program had a great time on our trip to Sarajevo! Here are some of our favorite sites and experiences from the trip:
The Sacred Heart Cathedral in the center of Sarajevo.

We experienced an interreligious tour of the city and we were able to speak to religious leaders at a Mosque, Synagogue, and Catholic Church (not pictured) in the city.

helped us celebrate Orthodox Easter by baking us traditional p***a.
•
Mostar Bridge, where we discussed contemporary relationships, conflicts, and politics in Bosnia and Hercegovina.
