Little Star Kindergarten

Little Star Kindergarten Little Star Kindergarten is a part of the Croatian-American Society in Zagreb, Croatia. All are either proficient speakers of English, or native speakers.

The Little Star Kindergarten, formerly the Anglo-American Playschool of Zagreb, was founded in 1991 as a part of the Croatian-American Society's section for promotion of language and culture. The Little Star Kindergarten program aims to provide quality education for children 3 to 6 years old, from various backgrounds and nationalities. Our early childhood program is conducted entirely in English a

nd offers a learning environment that supports each child's individual development and learning style. An integrated kindergarten curriculum allows children to learn about the world around them through play and interaction with the environment. By incorporating history, geography, science, social studies, art, music and children's literature into everyday teaching, children are able to explore the English language and learn basic reading, writing and mathematical skills in a fun and intuitive way. In this manner, young learners are transformed into creative thinkers eager for new challenges in their future education. Little Star employs well-educated, trained professionals, who have either worked abroad or in international programs, within Croatia. Little Star Kindergarten has two locations in Zagreb, both following the same educational program:
