On the occasion of marking the tenth anniversary of the Republic of Croatia's accession to the European Union, on Friday, June 30, 2023, from 09:00 to 15:00, FER's Laboratory for Underwater Systems and Technologies - LABUST will open its doors to all interested students and citizens.

The aim of holding "Open Doors" is to present activities and projects that have contributed to the development of higher education and technologies in the field of underwater systems.

We are thrilled to announce that on June 26, 2023 our lab member Nadir Kapetanović successfully defended his PhD thesis titled „Complete coverage of large seabed areas using sonar data-based path planning for an autonomous marine vehicle“ with Summa Cum Laude honors! Congratulations to Nadir on reaching this important milestone. We wish him all the best on his post-doctoral research journey and look forward to his future accomplishments!

We are thrilled to announce that on February 27, 2023 our lab member Anja Babić successfully defended her PhD thesis titled „A hyper-heuristic approach to achieving long-term autonomy in a heterogeneous swarm of marine robots“ with Summa Cum Laude honors! We congratulate her on this significant milestone and wish her all the best as she continues her post-doctoral research with us. We look forward to seeing what she will achieve in the future. Prijavi se na tečaj za upravljanje podvodnim ronilicama! Pomorski fakultet Rijeka i FER (LABUST) vlastitom opremom provode stručno osposobljavanje za rad s daljinski upravljivim ronilicama inspekcijske klase, gdje se tijekom trodnevnog teoretskog i praktičnog dijela tečaja polaznici upoznaju s vrstama i dijelovima podvodnih ronilica, važnosti planiranja zarona, načinom rukovanja i pilotiranja ronilicom te upotrebom ronilica u različite svrhe.
